This link will take you into a world of valuable tips from both the past and present that will help you improve your playing skills and form your best strategy for your game!

All of these tips are contributed by the successful Full Tilt Pros like Keith Sexton. Keith is a native of Dayton, Ohio who moved to Las Vegas in 1988 and began to build homes and speculate on real estate just prior to the huge take off in the housing market there. It wasn't long after this that he discovered his natural abilities at 7 Card Stud and became quite skillful at the game over the next 20 years.

Then in 2003, Keith began focusing his efforts on the game of No-Limit Texas Hold 'em and by 2005, he had conquered this game as well, as he proved when he finished sixth in the WSOPC tournament at Harrah's Rincon and eighth in the WSOP Tournament of Champions. This was a big accomplishment for Keith, but he did not stop playing 7 Card Stud and in the 2005 WSOP he finished second, marking his biggest finish to date! Showing that poker skills are also in the blood, Keith's son Paul finished fifth the in $2,000 No-Limit Hold 'em tournament at the WSOP.

A good example of the tips you will find in the Pro Tip Archives is Keith's Pro Tip Number 176 on Playing Fifth Street in Seven-Card Stud. Keith says reaching Fifth Street is the point of a major decision in playing Seven-Card Stud because this is where you have to make your first big bet. He notes that you don't always have to have a made hand to raise on Fifth Street, as a big draw can be enough.

Keith believes that players who do not follow this method of thinking are making costly mistakes for themselves. In his Pro-Tip, Keith offers a clear and concise example of why he believes it pays to be aggressive on Fifth Street in Seven Card. He concludes that, "the bottom line is that you need to be aggressive when playing Seven Card Stud because it's the aggressive player who usually wins."
