Hand History Tool
Improving your poker game takes lots of practice and patience. Just like with everything else in life, the more you do something, the better you get at it and the same holds true for playing poker.
To improve your game, hand analysis in poker will help you understand why some hands and maneuvers work better than others and arm you for better future play. Using Full Tilt Poker's Hand History tool to analyze your play on a daily basis can help you take your playing skills to the next level. This handy tool automatically tracks each hand you play and stores the information in a file right on your hard drive so that you can access it and review it whenever you want.
To take advantage of the Hand History tool, simply click on Options in the menu bar at the top of the lobby screen, and then select Hand History at the bottom of the pull-down menu. Place a check in the Save My Hand Histories box and then select the number of days of hand histories to store. You can accept the default folder the hand history will be stored into, or you can change the folder to any location where you want to store the hand histories on your computer, just by clicking the Change Folder button. When you are done with your preferences, click OK.
After setting up the Hand History tool, whenever you finish a poker session, you can access your hand histories with the following steps:
• Right click on the Start button on the bottom left of your computer screen and then click on Explore
• Open the Hand History folder - this is the folder you specified in the Hand History Configuration menu. Generally it will be: C:Program FilesFull Tilt PokerHandHistory.
• Locate and open the folder labeled with your username - hand history folders will be created for each individual Full Tilt Poker player who uses your computer
• Locate the table and date you want to view, and double click the file to open it
